Angel Game

AJ is not only a huge Angels fan, but he is obsessed with the free giveaways that you get at some of the games. Seriously, I've collected a rally monkey, a scarf, a blanket, and now a hat. Recently, he felt like going so he made a list of upcoming games with their giveaways and sent it to me and asked which we should go to. Because of my crazy schedule, I was only really able to go yesterday, so I trekked out there after work and we actually did get some nice hats haha.

We tailgated in AJ's truck first and then he gets crazy about getting in there in time for the giveaways even though I tell him I'll just buy him a hat! but he wants the free one.

Here was what I did while we were tailgating, since AJ was listening to another baseball game on the radio (snoozefest) I went through Snapchat filters.

We were in the outfield seats near the fountain thing, it's AJ's favorite section, and we were right there with Mike Trout, AJ's boy. The game was actually really good! There were a lot of home runs on both sides. First the Tigers were up, then the Angels, then the Angels gave up their lead, then it was a blowout, 9-2 Angels, then the Tigers caught up. In the 9th inning it was tied 9-9. I was really tired at this point and praying it wouldn't go over the nine innings. At the bottom of the ninth, Cron hit a homerun with a runner on base to end up 11-9 Angels winning. AJ jumped up and shouted and the fireworks went off and the whole Angels team ran out in the field and were jumping around Cron and apparently the Angels used #GameOfCrons for their hashtag that night ha! I was relieved the game finished. Especially because, on my drive home, the stupid frickin 91 was closed at the 15. A usual 6 lane highway had to be merged into 1 lane and then taken off the freeway onto the streets. I was NOT happy and I got home so late that I woke up this morning feeling hungover but was just really tired.

At least we got some cool hats.
