What's Naptime?

We're back on the struggle bus over here. We assumed we lucked out and didn't have a four month sleep regression, but turns out it's just a five month sleep regression. So we wake up all night... and then spend all day struggling with her naps. Which is real fun when you're working from home and need those naps to TCOB. In the meantime, we can appreciate the cute moments from other times these past few weeks.

I'd call this the calm AFTER the storm

That toy is a mirror and Sophie is
fully investigating the baby looking
back at her

We got to go meet Enzo and spend some time with him and Luca, which is fun as Sophie is getting to be more entertained and engaged. Not that we could get a good picture of all three of them.

I was able to wrestle Sophie down for a nap and I'm sure she's going to wake again any minute, so I'm out of here ASAP.

Guess Who's 5 Months...!

Little Sophie Bee!

I'm very excited and happy for her, and also very proud that I've made it 5 months breastfeeding. This shit is no joke.

We also had an outing getting pedicures which she did so great at! No whining or crying or anything at all.

And here's her being cute around the house, per usual, including her Easter, with her animals sent from her grandma. The llama came with those bunny ears for her to wear, which was so cute.

And last night, we found out how to make her laugh!

I had a big sneeze and she was giggling, which was really new for us! So I kept pretending to sneeze and she was loving it. AJ tried but he wasn't as funny LOL.

Happy five months baby girl!

Ten Years on Instagram

I went down memory lane on Instagram and it turns out my first post happened ten years ago... today! What a wild ride. I remember taking this in Battery Park; it was a cold day. I also remember at this point in time, people were using an app called MyHipstamaticPrints, then there was a split between that and Instagram, and as we all know, Instagram took over the world. But I think of that when I see this photo.

Gosh what a different time... living in New York City. I had a lot of nostalgia going through photos that far back and what my life was like and all the crazy times and trips. I really like Instagram because it's both a photo album and a time capsule.

Yep, I'm basic.
