I must be getting really old because, even after being cooped up in a quarantine, I still am not eager to get out if it means going to hot, crowded places. But the OC Fair, despite being insanely crowded, ended up being a better time than I had even hoped! Unfortunately Heather and Justin accidentally bought tickets for the wrong date so they weren't able to join in the end, but we met up with them for lunch, and it's always fun to see the babies interact!
Sophie was so happy at the fair, she just loves getting out and seeing new things and exploring. She loved the animals and we loved showing them to her too.
We really maximized her wake window but we wish we could have stayed longer still. It probably helped that it was actually kind of cool the day that we went too.
It felt nice doing a real summertime activity, and it was fun to experience it with Sophie.
