It's August 2021 and we're still in some form of a lockdown. I guess it's not lockdown, but it's still remote work and restrictions and not really sure how to live life. It's so disheartening feeling like this will never end. But we're still here and doing random things. Like watching nonstop Olympics (even if it's over now) and having Sophie turn 9 months old!
She's getting so big and those photos are seriously getting difficult to take, as are diaper changes and getting her to finish a whole bottle without getting distracted and trying to take off all the time.
She's getting the hang of the touch-and-feel book and doing it on her own |

We returned the Nemo jumper back to Heather since Enzo is big enough to use it now, and Grandma Debbie got us a replacement rainforest-themed jungle. She loved having a whole new set of toys to play with and explore.
Debbie was here for a week to help out (which was such a huge help!) especially since AJ went on a guys' golf trip this past weekend. We took Debbie to the airport early on Sunday morning and I decided to stop by the Starbucks by our place on the way back and we sat outside in the cool morning and watched the birdies and people going by. It was peaceful - even she was happy!
That day we went to Heather's to return the Nemo jumper and we got to spend time with aunties and Gangy.
This girl LOOOOVES the itsy bitsy spider |
We got a small window of time when all the babies could hang out together, and that was fun trying to get a picture...
I think Sophie is usually enthralled with other babies, and she often tried to eat Enzo's hands or grab his hands or face. It's funner to watch them interact as they get older.
AJ got home that evening and even though he got a hat for himself, Sophie seemed to like it for herself too.
That's all from us over here for the time.
